Getting Started – Humana
The Humana Higher Education Program partnership with Metropolitan College provides tuition assistance,
student support, and career development services for Humana associates in a Humana Higher Education
Program role, as defined by Humana, who attend Jefferson Community and Technical College or the University
of Louisville.

- Apply for admission at
Jefferson Community and Technical College or the University of Louisville.
The entrance requirements for each school are different.
- Apply for financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid
(FAFSA).
- Consult the student checklist to make sure you’ve completed any other
requirements necessary to receive Metropolitan College benefits.
Benefits Overview
Participants in the Humana Higher Education Program are eligible for tuition remission at the Kentucky resident undergraduate rate at either Jefferson Community and Technical College or
the University of Louisville. Participants must remain actively employed through a specified period each semester and successfully
complete coursework with a grade of “C” or better. Participants receive an array of support services and career development assistance from the Metropolitan
College Student Development Counselors.
