Partnerships

Partnership has been the key to the success of Metropolitan College and it continues to be the cornerstone of the organization. Metropolitan College was founded on the principles of collaboration and shared resources. The government, education and business leaders who created Metropolitan College believed that great things could happen if these sometimes disparate entities could blend their expertise and resources to work together for the common good. The task was daunting: to assist employers like UPS to stabilize and develop their workforce while simultaneously providing opportunities to increase educational attainment levels for the citizens of the Commonwealth. The results have been outstanding and as the original partnership has been strengthened, new partnerships have been forged. The concepts of collaboration and partnership are clearly integral to continued success and further evolution of Metropolitan College.

Business, education and government must work together as equal partners to find solutions to our workforce development challenges and we must do it now!
