Tuition Benefit Requirement

To receive tuition benefits through Metropolitan College, you must apply for financial aid. All undergraduate Metropolitan College participants must apply for aid each year using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The priority deadline for filing the FAFSA in Kentucky has changed! The priority deadline is no longer March 15. Students should now file their FAFSA AS SOON AS POSSIBLE after Jan.1, each academic year to receive tuition benefits from Metropolitan College. To receive financial aid, a student must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP). Contact your financial aid office for further information on SAP.

  • UPS pays 50% of students’ tuition (Kentucky undergraduate resident rate only)
  • Federal or State Grant(s), if awarded, or Metropolitan College pays the remaining 50%
