Financial Aid

Tuition Benefit Requirement
To receive tuition benefits through Metropolitan College, you must apply for financial
aid. All undergraduate Metropolitan College participants must apply for aid each year
using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This form should
be filled out by the Kentucky priority deadline, March 15, each academic year for
you to receive tuition for your coursework from Metropolitan College. To receive
financial aid, a student must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress. Contact your
financial aid office for further information. If a student is eligible for any type
of Federal or State Grants, a portion or all of the grant may be used to pay for
part of the student’s tuition. Your tuition is broken down and paid in the following
manner:
- UPS pays 50% of students’ tuition (Kentucky undergraduate resident rate only)
- Federal or State Grant(s), if awarded, or Metropolitan College pays the remaining 50%
