School Admission Requirements
Note: Admission requirements differ from school to school and program to program.
University of Louisville:
Metropolitan College requires that students with less than 60 college credit hours
who plan to attend the University of Louisville be admissible to the University
and have at least a 21 composite ACT score (980 SAT) and a high school grade point
average of 3.0 or greater.
Transfer Students
If you have earned a minimum of 60 transferable college credits or an Associate
Degree from an accredited college or university, and you are in good academic standing
with that institution, you may be admitted to the UofL Metropolitan College program
as a transfer student without meeting the ACT and high school GPA requirements.

Jefferson Community and Technical College
All new first-semester students must complete an Admissions Application, attend
Orientation and take the COMPASS Assessment. The COMPASS Assessment is a placement
test consisting of English, Mathematics and Reading. It will assist you and your
advisor to determine which entry-level courses are appropriate.
