Signed Every Semester

A Student Agreement must be signed every semester by the tuition deadline set by your school so that tuition will be deferred. This will prevent the student from having to pay out of pocket or risk classes being dropped for non-payment. The absolute deadline to sign a Student Agreement is:

Fall October 15th

Summer August 1st

Where to Sign Your Student Agreement

You can sign a Metropolitan College Student Agreement at most of our office locations.

Preparing to Sign Your Student Agreement

To prepare for your meeting with your Metropolitan College Student Development Counselor and to sign an agreement, students are expected to complete the following before visiting the office:

  1. Check your MyMC page, including your messages, so that you are aware of any items that need to be completed before signing your agreement (including any CAPP requirements).
  2. Write down any questions about your academic and career goals and complete any follow-up tasks suggested to you by a Student Development Counselor in your last meeting.
  3. Check your ULink (UofL students) or PeopleSoft Self-Service (JCTC students) so that you are aware of any holds on your account or items on your to-do list.
  4. Plan a minimum of 20 minutes to meet with a Student Development Counselor and sign your agreement. Wait times may be longer during busy times of the year.

Note for JCTC Students...

JCTC students can obtain a parking permit by showing a copy of their signed Student Agreement.
